1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, email address, support requests, feedback, and other information you choose to provide.

When you use City Contractor, certain technical information may also be collected automatically, including your browser type, operating system, device information, referring pages, pages visited, timestamps, and information about how you interact with our website and services.

2. City Contractor Desktop Application Data

Each time City Contractor starts, it sends one small ping over HTTPS to Desoline containing a random per-install identifier, the application version, and your operating system. We use it to count installations, monitor stability, and understand whether people keep using City Contractor.

City Contractor does not read your screen, log your keystrokes or mouse activity, or send your click settings, saved sequences, documents, or other personal content. Your click settings stay on your device.

3. Optional Bandwidth Sharing (Massive)

The City Contractor Windows installer offers an optional service provided by Massive (joinmassive.com), which helps keep City Contractor free. Massive is offered on a dedicated setup page and is installed only if you select Accept. If you select Decline, Massive is not installed and City Contractor works the same.

If you accept, Massive uses a small portion of your device's idle internet bandwidth and IP address to route publicly available web traffic on behalf of Massive's business customers. City Contractor continues running in the Windows system tray after you close its main window, and Massive may continue operating in the background while City Contractor is running. Selecting Exit from the City Contractor system tray stops Massive immediately.

Massive acts as an independent controller for the network traffic it routes and any information it processes, under its own terms and privacy policy. City Contractor itself records only your Massive choice (accepted or declined, and whether you later switched it off), stored locally on your device. Desoline does not receive the content of traffic routed through Massive.

• You can pause or switch off Massive at any time from inside City Contractor.
• You can uninstall Massive independently through Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps without uninstalling City Contractor.

4. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve City Contractor; provide customer support; communicate with users; analyze performance and usage; detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems; comply with legal obligations; and protect the rights, property, and security of City Contractor and its users.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

City Contractor may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand how visitors use our services, measure performance, and improve the user experience.

Third-party analytics or advertising providers may also use cookies or similar technologies where applicable.

Users may be able to control cookies through their browser settings and, where provided, our cookie-consent tools. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the website.

6. Analytics and Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers for services such as hosting, analytics, security, customer support, advertising, payment processing, and other functionality necessary to operate City Contractor.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and our agreements with them.

We do not sell personal information for money. If City Contractor engages in advertising or data-sharing practices that are legally considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information in a particular jurisdiction, we will provide any notices and choices required by applicable law.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

8. Microsoft Advertising and UET

Our website may use Microsoft Advertising to track conversions and campaign performance. Desoline does not intentionally transmit names, email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, passwords, document content, or other directly identifying information to Microsoft through UET.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; request data portability; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You may contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights.

Users in the European Economic Area and other jurisdictions may also have the right to lodge a complaint with their applicable data-protection authority. These types of disclosures and rights are specifically contemplated by GDPR requirements.

11. International Data Transfers

City Contractor and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you reside.

Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate measures relating to international transfers of personal information.

12. Children's Privacy

City Contractor is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise handle that information in accordance with applicable law. U.S. COPPA rules can apply to persistent identifiers and other online information collected from children under 13.

City Contractor may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where required, provide additional notice.

15. Microsoft and Google Platform Information

City Contractor's Windows application is distributed as a direct download from citycontractor.com. City Contractor's Android application is distributed through Google Play, which processes certain account, device, and installation information under its own privacy terms — review Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy for details. As our website uses Microsoft Advertising as described above, you may also wish to review Microsoft's Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement. The data-handling practices described in this Privacy Policy are consistent with the Data Safety information provided on City Contractor's Google Play Store listing.
